Advanced Search Help
Advanced Search can be used to construct complex searches.

- In the Search For: text box enter one or more keyword(s) or a phrase
- Use ? to truncate keywords: compute? finds compute, computer, computerized
- Do not use AND, OR, NOT, or quotation marks to connect words. Instead use the following options in the drop-down menu:

Option What it does Would search as if you input all of these puts AND between words Arcata AND marsh any of these puts OR between words Arcata OR marsh as a phrase word adjacency "Arcata marsh" - Use the In: drop-down menu to select where you want the keywords you enter to be searched.
- Use the AND, OR, NOT radio buttons to indicate the boolean relationship between each Search For: box.
- Use the

your search results by date, location, etc. (optional)
